A symmetrical, luminous smile can have a significant impact on your overall appearance. Even with healthy and structurally sound teeth, cosmetic flaws such as chips, cracks, or stains can mar the attractiveness of your smile. Dr. Andrew Tran is an expert cosmetic dentist who offers porcelain veneers at his Houston and Sugar Land, TX, dental offices to create a flawless smile for patients. At Galleria Smiles, patients receive one-on-one attention from a skilled dentist who offers distinguished cosmetic care in a friendly and relaxed setting.
What Are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are thin shells made of medical grade ceramic material placed on the front surface of teeth, effectively concealing a range of cosmetic imperfections. Porcelain veneers are custom made to blend in seamlessly with your smile, ensuring that other people only notice an attractive new smile and not the dental work behind it. You can benefit from porcelain veneers if you want to mask:
- Chipped, cracked or misshaped teeth
- Worn or asymmetrical teeth
- Minor crowding or misalignment
- Teeth with stubborn intrinsic stains
Our Patient Results
Porcelain Veneers Procedure
Dr. Tran wants to ensure his patients receive the results they desire and conducts a thorough cosmetic consultation process. During your veneers consultation, Dr. Tran takes his time, listens to your concerns, and builds a treatment plan that incorporates your aesthetic goals to create the smile of your dreams.
Using advanced technology, such as 3D scans and intraoral cameras, Dr. Tran will take diagnostic images which help in each patient's individual smile design process. These images are used by our lab technician to create a digital mockup, often on the same day as the consultation.
By seeing the model before the start of treatment, patients have the ability to visualize their final results to help ensure they will be happy with the final look.
The digital mock-up is then used to create a wax-up that allows patients to hold a 3D model of their new smile in their hands and assess it for changes before commencing treatment. By seeing the model before the start of treatment, patients have the ability to visualize their final results to help ensure they will be happy with the final look.
During the next appointment, Dr. Tran will prep your teeth for temporary veneers, and you will leave that day with an enhanced smile. Typically, patients will wear the temporary veneers for two to three weeks while the final veneers are crafted at their partner cosmetic laboratory in California. During the final appointment, Dr. Tran will secure the new veneers in place, making any final adjustments, before revealing your new smile.
